The Process
Our clients typically come to us after they have located a development site or sites for a specific use or set of uses.
We then prepare a study that considers:
- the characteristics of the site
- the primary market area or trade area that is likely to be served by the site (which varies by the type of use)
- the demand for the product within the primary market area
- the competitive and comparable supply
- the absorption potential for the specified use
- potential gross income
Customization
We also have experience tailoring our research to the needs of the client, which might include how different sites compare for a specific use, how supply and demand are distributed across a large market area, how much land to allocate to different uses on a multi-use site, for example.
